School Psychologist - SummaryAs a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in strengthening schoolwide systems, focusing on MTSS and SEL frameworks. You will support universal screenings, schoolwide data reviews, and collaborate on the development of Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention plans. The position also involves coaching educators, participating in behavior teams, assisting with PBIS efforts, and contributing to crisis prevention and staff training initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities- Support and conduct universal screenings to identify student needs across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains.
- Participate in schoolwide data reviews to inform intervention and instructional strategies.
- Coach and consult with teachers on integrating effective intervention strategies and SEL practices into classroom instruction.
- Help develop and implement evidence-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention plans tailored to individual or group student needs.
- Actively participate in school behavior teams and support Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) efforts.
- Collaborate on SEL initiatives to promote student well-being and resilience.
- Assist in crisis prevention, response, and recovery efforts within the school setting.
- Lead and participate in staff training focused on best practices in intervention, crisis management, and SEL integration.

- Valid WA ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification in School Psychology.
