Within the role of School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting a range of assessments and interventions to support students’ educational goals. School Psychologist - Summary
- Key member of the school’s support team, specializing in student mental health, learning, and behavioral interventions
- Works collaboratively with educators, administrators, students, and families to promote healthy learning environments
- Provides expert services in assessment, intervention, consultation, and prevention
- Assists in creating strategies and plans to address individual and group needs within the school setting
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to school teams and families
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend strategies for student support and classroom management
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor student progress
- Deliver professional development and training to staff on topics related to mental health, learning differences, and behavior management
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate and student well-being

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain such credentials)
- Demonstrated proficiency in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
