School Psychologist - Summary
- Serve as an integral member of the school's student support services team.
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services to students Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, families, and mental health professionals to address student needs.
- Utilize assessment tools and evidence-based interventions to support student learning and well-being.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Interpret assessment results and develop recommendations for educational programming and interventions.
- Design and implement individualized intervention strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective plans that promote positive educational outcomes for students.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and 504 planning sessions, to advocate for student needs.
- Facilitate social skills groups and individual counseling sessions as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and legal requirements.
- Stay up to date on best practices and developments in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a School Psychologist in New Hampshire or eligibility for certification.
