School Psychologist - Summary
- Provide psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation services for students in grades K-8
- Support the social, emotional, and academic success of students through targeted interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret evaluation data to inform educational recommendations
- Deliver evidence-based counseling for students exhibiting academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Participate in Student Support Teams to develop intervention strategies for at-risk students
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
- Facilitate parent meetings and communicate assessment findings in a clear, supportive manner
- Assist in crisis response and provide immediate support during emergencies or critical incidents
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations
- Contribute to a positive school culture by promoting mental health awareness and student advocacy

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and providing psychological services in a school setting preferred
