School Psychologist - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive school psychology services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine students’ strengths, challenges, and eligibility for special education services.
- Participate actively in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff.
- Provide individual and small group counseling to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, parents, and community resources to design and implement effective interventions.
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations for prevention and response strategies to ensure student safety and well-being.
- Assist school teams in developing data-driven strategies to enhance overall school climate and improve student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all applicable laws and district policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Demonstrated experience conducting psychological and educational assessments.
- Strong understanding of IEP development, behavioral interventions, and special education regulations.
