School Nurse RN - Summary- Provides district-wide nursing services to support student health and safety
- Delivers care across multiple school buildings, including elementary, middle, and high schools
- Ensures compliance with state and district health regulations
- Works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and families to promote wellness
- Part-time, school-based position with a consistent academic calendar schedule
- Evaluate, assess, and provide direct nursing care to students for a variety of health needs
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policy
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for students with specific medical requirements
- Support students with IEP (Individualized Education Program) and 504-related medical needs
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, asthma, seizure disorders, and severe allergies
- Conduct mandated health screenings and document results
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid and crisis intervention
- Maintain up-to-date emergency action plans and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with emergency medical services (EMS) when necessary
- Keep accurate, confidential student health records and track medication logs
- Ensure compliance with New Hampshire Department of Education and Department of Health regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student health issues and care plans
- Collaborate with school administrators, special education teams, and faculty to support student health and learning
- Participate in student support meetings as needed

- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (required)
- Current CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Preferred experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or community health

- Reliable transportation for travel between buildings if required
