School Nurse RN - Summary- Provide school-based nursing services for students in a public school setting
- Support the health and safety of the student population
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to optimize student well-being
- Implement and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and support students with IEPs/504 Plans
- Deliver direct nursing care to students throughout the school day, including first aid, medication administration, and management of acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, seizure disorders, and severe allergies
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and support students with 504 Plans and IEP-related medical needs
- Conduct health screenings according to school and state requirements
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and school-wide health crises, providing first aid and triage as needed
- Collaborate with school administration and staff during emergency protocols
- Maintain accurate, confidential student health records, medication administration logs, and ensure compliance with state regulations and district policies
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student health needs, plans, and incidents
- Participate in student support meetings and partner with teachers, special education teams, and administrators to advocate for student health in the educational setting

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
- Current CPR/BLS certification
