SAP IS-U Techno-Functional Consultant - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams for SAP IS-U related projects.
- Analyze, interpret, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP IS-U modules, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Lead and facilitate workshops to gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Configure, test, and provide ongoing support for SAP IS-U modules throughout the design, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live phases.
- Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, integration teams, and business stakeholders to maintain project alignment and ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Participate in regulatory compliance initiatives, supporting frameworks such as SOX and NERC as required.
- Utilize strong stakeholder management and communication skills to foster positive working relationships and ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancement suggestions, particularly in ABAP, to optimize SAP IS-U performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in driving utility industry transformation initiatives.
- 2–5 years of hands-on configuration and testing experience within SAP IS-U modules, such as Device Management, Billing & Invoicing, FICA, and Customer Service.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including SOX and NERC.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and gathering detailed business and functional requirements.
- Familiarity with ABAP debugging or enhancements is considered an asset.
