Salesforce Data Engineer - Summary- Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud solutions with a focus on identity resolution and activation.
- Engage in hands-on development from data ingestion to customer data activation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-quality customer data solutions.
- Drive ongoing improvements and optimization of the customer data platform.
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data models within Salesforce Data Cloud to support unified customer profiles.
- Implement and manage identity resolution processes, including developing matching rules and unified profile creation.
- Configure and maintain Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data Graphs, and Calculated Insights to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Develop and support segmentation and activation workflows that span CRM, marketing, and external platforms to maximize data utility.
- Enable and optimize data activation capabilities, ensuring proactive use of customer data beyond initial ingestion.
- Establish and uphold data quality, consistency, and governance standards throughout the data lifecycle.
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and CRM stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Support the ongoing enhancement and optimization of the customer data platform through continuous feedback and technical improvements.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, customer data platforms, or CRM systems.
- Proven, hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data Cloud, including experience with Data Model Objects, Data Graphs, and identity resolution frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and a background in working with large-scale datasets.
- Demonstrated experience in data ingestion, transformation, and modeling workflows.
- Understanding of customer data platforms and master data management concepts.
- Experience in integrating and activating data across downstream systems such as CRM and marketing tools.
- Ability to clearly explain technical implementations and design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
