The Sales Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting business growth and operational efficiency within a leading software/SaaS organization. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will collaborate with internal business partners and senior stakeholders to ensure that sales strategies and revenue operations are optimized for success. This role is integral to annual sales planning, forecasting, quota setting, and the continuous refinement of sales processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Sales Operations Analyst is expected to develop key performance indicators, manage reporting, and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.
Sales Operations Analyst - Summary
- Support global revenue operations through data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement.
- Provide critical insights and reporting to drive business growth in a software/SaaS environment.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement best practices in sales operations.
- Assist in annual planning, quota setting, and compensation plan design for the sales team.
- Leverage advanced tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and CRM platforms to deliver strategic analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver meaningful and actionable insights to internal business partners regarding business drivers, financial performance, and risk factors through regular and ad hoc reporting.
- Collaborate in annual sales planning, including setting quotas and influencing compensation plan design to motivate and reward sales performance.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to define, implement, and refine effective sales planning processes that align with organizational goals.
- Provide renewal sales leaders with up-to-date forecast data and information to accurately track monthly and quarterly sales projections.
- Develop, monitor, and evolve key performance indicators to drive revenue growth and enhance sales projections.
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and analytical tools that enable business intelligence and performance tracking.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to streamline operations and maximize the efficiency of sales teams.
- Provide data-driven support to senior stakeholders, including Directors and VPs, to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Sales Operations or Renewal Operations within a software/SaaS sales environment.
- Strong expertise in forecasting and pipeline analysis on both monthly and quarterly bases.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI or Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to support senior-level stakeholders, including Directors and VPs, with analytical insights and operational support.
