ARC Group is seeking a Sales Engineer specializing in air compressor systems to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering comprehensive compressed air solutions and building long-term client relationships. As a Sales Engineer, you will be integral to expanding our presence in the Dallas, TX region, leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to offer industry-leading products and services to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with both new and established clients through frequent onsite visits, phone outreach, and digital communication to understand their compressed air system needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in compressed air solutions, advising clients on system design, upgrades, and maintenance best practices.
- Develop technical proposals, including detailed drawings and comprehensive bills of materials to support the installation and commissioning of air compressor equipment.
- Work collaboratively with technical and engineering teams to facilitate seamless system start-ups and provide onsite client training as needed.
- Prepare and deliver competitive and accurate pricing quotes to prospective and current clients, ensuring the solutions offered align with their operational requirements and budgets.
- Actively prospect for new business opportunities through research, networking, and strategic outreach, while also following up on leads generated by the company.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or technical service within the industrial air compressor or rotating equipment industry is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to foster and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing travel throughout the Dallas, TX region, including occasional overnight stays as business needs dictate.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
