As a Roofing Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of roofing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction at every stage. Key Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate roofing projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Manage teams of roofing professionals and subcontractors throughout each project phase.
- Oversee roofing projects from initiation to closeout, monitoring progress and addressing issues as they arise.
- Obtain necessary permits from city officials and collaborate with inspectors to maintain compliance with all regulations.
- Review blueprints, survey notes, client feedback, and bid documents to accurately define project scope and requirements.
- Order roofing materials, schedule deliveries, and coordinate crew assignments for optimal workflow.
- Assist crews on-site by providing materials, tools, and logistical support as needed.
- Run errands and procure supplies to support ongoing roofing projects.
- Maintain an organized inventory of roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the duration of each project.
- Monitor and enforce quality assurance and safety protocols to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the roofing industry, with in-depth knowledge of roofing practices, materials, and techniques relevant to both commercial and residential projects.
- Proven project management experience within the roofing sector, including team coordination and project scheduling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members, clients, inspectors, and suppliers.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access project sites and suppliers.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks on active construction sites.
