Retail Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble merchandise such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, outdoor storage sheds, and other large-item builds on-site in retail stores
- Follow assembly instructions and safety protocols to ensure all items are built correctly and securely
- Utilize your own set of tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter or utility knife, and rubber mallet
- Document completed work using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing via the company app
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time for each assignment
- Deliver consistent quality and reliability in every assembly task assigned
- Continuously strive for efficiency and accuracy to maximize the number of builds completed within scheduled hours
Salary & Benefits
- Average pay of $20 per hour, with top performers reaching the equivalent of $60 per hour or more, based on units assembled
- Weekly pay cycles

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physically able to lift and maneuver items weighing 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
- Possess reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites
- Own a smartphone with a functional camera for job documentation and app use
- Bring your own tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet
