Retail Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately assemble products such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, bikes, outdoor storage sheds, and related large-item merchandise
- Follow all assembly instructions and safety guidelines as provided by manufacturers and the company
- Utilize personal tools and equipment, including cordless drills, metric sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, and other necessary hand tools
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing
- Report progress and completion of assembly tasks promptly to supervisors or through the designated app
- Prioritize speed and quality to maximize commission-based earnings
- Maintain punctuality and reliability, ensuring on-time arrival at assignment locations
- Uphold company standards for workmanship, safety, and customer service

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver items weighing 50 pounds or more on a routine basis
- Reliable personal transportation to travel between retail locations as needed
- Smartphone with a functional camera for documenting work and completing app-based tasks
- Ownership of essential tools, including but not limited to an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and delivering high-quality workmanship
