Retail Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of large retail products, such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, outdoor sheds, and bikes, according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Utilize personal tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit sets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, utility knife, and rubber mallet, to complete assemblies.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through a specialized app.
- Ensure timely check-in at job sites and maintain punctuality for higher commission rates and priority job assignments.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and adhere to all safety and assembly protocols.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in retail environments, representing the company and upholding its standards.
- Adapt to new assembly challenges and product types regularly, providing variety in daily tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Possess reliable personal transportation for travel between job sites.
- Own a smartphone with a working camera for documentation, scanning, and invoicing.
- Have a comprehensive set of personal hand tools including, but not limited to, an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter or utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- No formal experience required; mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential.
