Retail Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as BBQ grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, storage sheds, bikes, and similar items according to manufacturer instructions and safety standards.
- Complete assembly tasks efficiently, accurately, and on-time to maximize compensation.
- Check in at assigned retail locations punctually and maintain a professional presence onsite.
- Use mobile devices (smartphone with camera) for capturing photos, scanning, and invoicing through the company app.
- Maintain and use a personal set of tools including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel as needed to coordinate assembly assignments.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and client requirements during assembly projects.
- Consistently demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of repeatedly lifting items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned retail locations.
- Smartphone with a working camera for required job documentation and communication.
- Ownership of required tools: 18V cordless impact driver or drill (preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on assembly work.
