Restaurant Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest enjoys a positive and memorable dining occasion. Address guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns swiftly and professionally.
- Operational Support: Assist the General Manager with all facets of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
- Team Leadership: Support, train, and motivate both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Facilitate teamwork and create a positive work environment.
- Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate staff activities to ensure workflow efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to enhance staff performance.
- Inventory and Ordering: Work with the General Manager to monitor inventory, conduct regular counts, and place orders with suppliers. Ensure proper storage and rotation of all food and beverage items.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections for health and safety compliance, cleanliness, and adherence to procedures.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Support initiatives to increase sales, including upselling menu items and optimizing guest satisfaction.
- Cash Handling and Financial Management: Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and daily deposit preparation. Support monitoring and controlling expenses to achieve financial targets.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager in a full-service, high-volume restaurant setting
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Proven leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices
