Restaurant Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring all guests have a memorable dining experience; promptly address customer inquiries and feedback
- Assist the General Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
- Support and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff; foster teamwork and provide ongoing training
- Supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality and service standards; offer guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and place orders with suppliers as needed; ensure proper storage and rotation of food and beverage items
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service by conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support sales initiatives and encourage upselling of menu items to maximize revenue
- Assist with cash handling procedures, reconcile sales, and prepare daily deposits; work to control expenses and meet financial targets
- Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures are followed; maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, casual dining setting
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Leadership qualities with the capability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
