Restaurant Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining orderliness throughout the restaurant.
- Motivate, train, and support front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
- Supervise daily activities, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of quality and service.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Monitor inventory, conduct regular counts, and place orders with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of food and beverage items.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Drive sales initiatives and encourage upselling of menu items.
- Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and preparation of daily deposits.
- Help control expenses and work towards achieving financial targets.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager role within a high-volume, casual dining environment.
- Proven customer service skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
