- Assist the General Manager with daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and scheduling
- Oversee and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house teams (hosts, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff)
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and facilitate ongoing staff training and development
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff to ensure efficient workflow and service standards are met
- Conduct regular performance coaching and address any issues or concerns as they arise
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct inventory counts, and place orders with suppliers as needed
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of food and beverage items
- Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Support sales initiatives and promote upselling of menu items
- Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and preparation of daily deposits
- Contribute to expense control and help meet financial targets
