Restaurant Manager Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Rockford, IL. Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Management: Ensure all guests are greeted warmly and receive prompt, friendly service throughout their visit. - Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including scheduling staff, maintaining inventory levels, and overseeing cash handling procedures. Address any performance issues promptly and support staff development through ongoing training and mentorship.
- Financial Management: Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and other operating expenses to ensure profitability. Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, using data to inform decisions that drive sales growth and cost controls. Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant revenue and reduce unnecessary expenses.
- Community Engagement: Participate in local events and support community initiatives to enhance the restaurant's presence in Rockford, IL. Build and maintain positive relationships with local businesses and organizations to foster goodwill and drive business growth.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager within a fast-casual or casual dining environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service and create outstanding guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
