We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team at a popular casual steakhouse. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring superior guest service, and helping to foster a positive and efficient work environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure every guest has a positive and memorable dining experience. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Assist the General Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the establishment.
- Lead and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Cultivate a supportive work environment, foster teamwork, and provide ongoing training and development to staff members.
- Coordinate activities of restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to established quality and service standards. Offer coaching and guidance to improve performance and resolve any operational issues.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and place orders with suppliers as needed. Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of food and beverage items.
- Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Implement initiatives to drive sales and upsell menu items, contributing to the overall profitability of the restaurant.
- Participate in cash handling procedures, reconcile sales, and prepare daily deposits. Assist in controlling expenses and monitoring financial performance to achieve business targets.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, food handling protocols, sanitation practices, and workplace safety procedures. Ensure accurate and current records are kept for all relevant processes.
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, casual dining environment.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- In-depth understanding of restaurant operations and service quality standards.
- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
