Restaurant Manager Position OverviewWe are an award-winning, multi-concept restaurant group currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that we deliver an exceptional dining experience to every guest. Key Responsibilities- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives exceptional customer service and a memorable dining experience. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and promptness.
- Operational Support: Assist the General Manager with overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from opening and closing procedures to staff scheduling and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and support both front-of-house and back-of-house employees, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning by providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Staff Supervision: Help supervise and coordinate restaurant staff activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to service standards. Provide guidance, performance feedback, and address any staff issues proactively.
- Inventory and Ordering: Work alongside the General Manager to monitor inventory levels, conduct inventories, place orders, and ensure proper storage and rotation of food and beverage items.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service. Regularly inspect the restaurant to confirm compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Support efforts to increase sales through upselling menu items and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Cash Handling and Financial Management: Participate in cash handling procedures, sales reconciliation, preparing daily deposits, and monitoring expenses to help meet financial goals.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams.
- Thorough understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Basic competency in inventory management and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure with professionalism.
- Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
