This full-time position is responsible for overseeing daily front of house operations and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience. The Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in maintaining smooth restaurant operations. Core responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring service quality, and upholding company standards. You will be entrusted with hiring, training, and mentoring team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment. Success in this role requires familiarity with high-volume, full-service restaurant operations and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service during all shifts.
- Deliver superior guest service by promptly addressing customer needs and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication between front of house and back of house teams, supporting a unified approach to hospitality.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance to both new hires and seasoned staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of restaurant staff, making recommendations for staff development and retention.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering of food and supplies, and ensure adherence to budgetary targets for labor, food, beverage, and utilities.
- Support financial goals by managing labor costs, reducing waste, and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Conduct open, mid-day, and closing procedures as needed to support continuous operations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of high-volume, full-service casual dining restaurant management experience.
- Proficiency with restaurant management software and related technology platforms.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain on your feet for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift).
