Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, cleanliness, and guest experience. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of restaurant staff. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and support to foster a culture of teamwork, personal growth, and exceptional service.
- Customer Service Excellence: Set and maintain high standards for customer service, leading by example in guest interactions. Address guest concerns promptly and work to exceed their expectations, ensuring every patron enjoys a positive dining experience.
- Financial Management: Monitor and analyze sales, costs, and profitability. Develop strategies to maximize revenue, control expenses, and achieve financial objectives. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and cost control initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain consistent food quality and presentation, adhering to established recipes and standards. Conduct regular food safety and quality inspections to meet all regulatory and company requirements.
- Staff Training and Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs to ensure all team members are knowledgeable about service standards, menu offerings, and operational procedures. Encourage ongoing professional development and continuous learning among staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Managing Partner in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
