As a Research Study Participant, you will attend a 90-minute in-person session at our professional studio. The session is focused on observing natural movements such as sitting, standing, and gently turning your head. There are no strenuous activities required, and you are encouraged to participate at your own pace. Our moderators are experienced in creating a respectful and comfortable atmosphere, guiding each participant through the process with simple instructions and demonstrations. The activities are designed to be accessible to people with a variety of mobility needs, and accommodations such as chairs with arms, grip rails, and step stools are readily available. If you use mobility aids like canes or walkers, you are welcome to have them with you throughout the session.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our team and guided through a brief check-in and orientation. After reviewing a straightforward consent form and answering any questions, the moderator will demonstrate each activity. You are encouraged to take breaks as needed, and there is never any obligation to complete an activity that feels uncomfortable. Your well-being is our top priority. During the session, you will be asked to perform simple motions at your own pace while being recorded on video for research purposes only. These recordings are strictly confidential and are not shared publicly. All data collected is used solely for research and training to help product and service development teams better understand real-life movement in older adults.

We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and loose, comfortable clothing to allow for easy movement.
