Are you interested in participating in a unique research opportunity designed for teens and parents? We invite motivated individuals to join our in-person video research study as a Research Study Participant. This research project offers an engaging and supportive environment where teens aged 13 to 19, along with their parents or legal guardians, can contribute valuable insights through simple video-recorded activities. The session is conducted at our dedicated research studio, providing a comfortable and well-organized setting for all participants.
As a Research Study Participant, you will take part in a structured 90-minute session led by a trained moderator. The session is straightforward and does not require any prior experience – the only requirement is to be yourself. The activities involve basic movements such as sitting, standing, and gently turning your head, all while being guided by our friendly team. The goal of the study is purely observational, with all video recordings used for research purposes only. There is no choreography, performance, or audition aspect involved. Snacks and refreshments are provided on-site to ensure you remain comfortable throughout the session.
For teens under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the participant, provide written consent, and remain on-site for the duration of the session. Parents and guardians may choose to observe from the studio or relax in the waiting area, with refreshments available. Our research team follows a strict safety-first protocol, ensuring a supportive and secure atmosphere for all participants. The studio is conveniently located, and complete arrival instructions, parking information, and the exact address will be sent to you upon confirmation of your appointment.
Compensation for participation is provided promptly. Both the teen and the accompanying parent or guardian will each receive payment within 24 hours of completing the session, delivered digitally for your convenience. If the parent or guardian also decides to participate in the session, there is an additional incentive available. This transparent compensation structure reflects our commitment to recognizing the valuable contributions of both teens and their families in our research.
To ensure the best experience and clarity on the day of your appointment, please bring a valid photo ID (such as a student ID) and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. We recommend avoiding clothing with large logos to ensure optimal video capture of movement. Our research moderators are committed to providing clear instructions and guidance throughout your visit. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, take breaks as needed, and review the session plan before beginning any activities. If you have any inquiries before your scheduled session, our team is available to assist you via your confirmation email.
Participating as a Research Study Participant offers a unique opportunity for teens and parents to contribute to meaningful research in a safe, respectful, and professional environment. The project is entirely observational, with strict privacy guidelines in place to protect your information. We do not sell or share personal contact details. Our mission is to facilitate research that values the comfort and privacy of every participant, reflecting our commitment to ethical and inclusive research practices.
