Daily Responsibilities

As a Focus Group Panelist, your primary responsibility will be to provide honest and thoughtful feedback during scheduled sessions. This involves active participation and a commitment to sharing your unique perspective.

• Participate in scheduled online focus group sessions, typically lasting 1 to 2 hours.
• Engage actively in discussions, providing clear and constructive opinions on various topics, products, or services.
• Complete pre-session questionnaires or surveys to help us understand your demographics and experiences relevant to the discussion.
• Follow moderator instructions and guidelines to ensure a productive and respectful group environment.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all discussion topics and proprietary information shared during sessions.
• Utilize provided online platforms and tools effectively to contribute to the discussion.
• Communicate any technical issues promptly to ensure smooth session participation.

• Compensation: Panelists can expect to earn $25 - $50 per hour, with individual session payments typically ranging from $100 to $250 per session, depending on session length, complexity, and topic. Compensation is provided shortly after successful completion of each session.

Minimum Requirements

To ensure a high-quality experience for both our panelists and our clients, we look for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Residency within the United States.
• Possess a reliable internet connection.
• Access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a working webcam and microphone.
• Strong verbal communication skills to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to follow instructions and participate actively in group discussions.
• A genuine interest in sharing opinions and providing constructive feedback.
• Basic technical proficiency to navigate online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Role Details

This is a part-time, remote contractor opportunity. There are no set hours beyond the scheduled focus group sessions you choose to participate in.

• Work Location: Fully remote, allowing participation from any location with a stable internet connection.
• Time Commitment: Variable, based on your availability and interest in specific focus group topics. Most sessions are 1-2 hours.
• Equipment: Panelists are expected to use their own reliable computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a working webcam and microphone. No equipment is provided by AFG.
• Contractor Status: This role is for independent contractors; it is not an employment position.
