Receptionist Job OverviewAmanda Parish - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist for a full-time position in Houston, MS. As a Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the front office operates smoothly, while upholding the company’s commitment to exceptional service standards. While previous insurance experience is not required, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and efficient product or service information to customers, resolving inquiries and emerging problems for customer accounts.
- Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Handle customer complaints, offer timely and appropriate solutions or alternatives, and diligently follow up to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents accurately to ensure organizational compliance and efficiency.
- Must obtain State Farm Training as required by the agency.
- Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are preferred but not required.
- Excellent phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities.
- Comfortable making outbound calls as needed.
- Genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and fostering positive relationships.
- Patient, empathetic, and highly communicative, with a passion for problem-solving and client advocacy.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
