Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech, X-Ray Tech) - Summary- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images for patient assessment and treatment planning
- Deliver compassionate patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate imaging results
- Utilize advanced X-Ray technology and maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
- Perform high-quality X-Ray examinations according to physician orders and established procedures
- Review patient histories and explain imaging procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation
- Position patients accurately and adjust radiographic equipment to obtain optimal images
- Monitor patient safety during imaging and utilize lead shields and other protective measures
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health system
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to support coordinated patient care
