The typical daily census ranges from 15-25 treatments, with weekly averages of 3-5 new consults and 9-12 follow-up visits, offering opportunities to expand your clinical experience.
The role requires expertise in advanced radiation therapy procedures, including CT Simulation (CT Sim), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy. Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology is required, along with an active state medical license and appropriate DEA credentials. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.
