Quality Inspector - Summary
- Conducts inspections and performance testing on components, assemblies, and finished goods.
- Ensures product conformance to established specifications and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect product samples and prepare them accurately for inspection according to established protocols.
- Inspect and test raw materials, in-process components, subassemblies, finished products, and packaging materials.
- Compare inspection findings to detailed specification requirements to verify compliance.
- Identify, document, and report any products or materials with potential quality issues to supervisors for further action.
- Enter inspection data, maintain accurate records, and route reports using designated quality management software and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with internal customers, such as production and engineering teams, to support quality improvements and resolve issues.
- Perform inventory transactions and ensure accuracy of material counts and labeling within the ERP system.
- Keep work areas organized and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced work environment, preferably within manufacturing or quality inspection.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and follow detailed work instructions.
- Experience using computers and software applications for data entry and information processing.
- Knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment commonly used in quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail are essential.
- Capable of performing data entry, reviewing electronic procedures, and completing required training courses.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform basic physical tasks related to the inspection process.
- Experience with control charts and basic statistical process control preferred.
- Ability to perform basic calculations accurately and consistently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and use hands for grasping objects throughout the work shift.
- Comfortable lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds as required.
- Ability to navigate stairs and access all areas of the production facility as needed.
