Quality Control Technician - SummaryThe Quality Control Technician is responsible for implementing and conducting quality assurance protocols within a manufacturing or production setting. Duties & Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into quality databases.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency to supervisors and relevant production personnel.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Assist in root cause analysis for non-conforming products and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to regulatory requirements for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous process improvement projects.
- Help train new staff on quality control protocols and best practices as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
