In this position, the Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for executing, supervising, and improving quality control activities throughout all phases of project delivery. Quality Control Manager (QCM) - Summary
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in a broad range of quality control activities for government and military projects.
- Ensure all work aligns with corporate quality control programs, company standards, and discipline-specific codes.
- Work with specialized teams, including those with USACE and NAVFAC backgrounds, to implement project-specific quality management plans.
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance across all quality assurance processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of the corporate quality control program, including standards, procedures, and relevant building codes necessary for project success.
- Create and implement project-specific Water+Min5 plans in collaboration with the project team.
- Review and provide feedback on trade partner quality control plans, coordinating with the Division Quality Manager for necessary approvals.
- Conduct inspections and witness tests to assess the acceptability and compliance of work performed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performance, inspections, and quality-related documents, ensuring all documentation is complete and correct.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to manage the site quality program and provide solutions for resolving non-compliant items.
- Assist in preparing and implementing detailed quality control procedures, including inspection instructions and control of measurement/testing equipment.
- Participate in both internal and external quality control audits to uphold standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Review purchase orders and submittal documents to ensure they meet quality control requirements.
- Support the resolution of project non-conformance issues and ensure successful implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to guarantee adherence to company standards, procedures, and codes.
- Document all commissioning processes and assist with commissioning activities as required.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control management, preferably within government or military project environments (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC).
