Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of plastic products to identify common defects such as sink marks, splay, flash, short shots, or color inconsistencies.
- Perform dimensional verification using precision instruments to ensure parts conform to blueprints or CAD specifications.
- Carry out functional testing, including stress tests, to confirm that products will perform reliably in their intended environments.
- Analyze raw materials, including resin testing and melt flow index analysis, to ensure material integrity throughout the production process.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspection results, including detailed logs of accepted and rejected batches.
- Prepare and submit non-conformance reports (NCRs), identifying root causes and deviations from standards.
- Ensure traceability of all batches by recording machine, operator, and raw material lot data.
- Calibrate and check the accuracy of measuring instruments and laboratory equipment regularly.
- Collaborate with machine operators to provide feedback and recommend process adjustments when deviations from specifications are detected.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to optimize quality and efficiency.

- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
