In this Quality Control Inspector (QC Inspector) role, your core responsibilities will center on conducting comprehensive product inspections and audits of quality control programs. You will utilize your expertise to perform packaging line and manufacturing inspections, as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Your attention to detail will ensure that raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products all align with the company's rigorous standards. You may also be required to apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after reviewing analytical data, and your knowledge of labeling regulations will be put to use when assessing draft and final label copy. Through your diligent work, you will help to minimize downtime by reducing production rework and preventing costly recalls.
As a valued member of the quality control team, you will need experience in a high-volume PCBA manufacturing environment. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards is essential, and you should be adept at identifying component values, reading Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and operating Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. The ability to read, understand, and follow Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) is crucial, as is the capability to communicate effectively with team members in English. Hands-on skills in assembling products or sub-assemblies based on verbal or written instructions, drawings, or diagrams, and competency in using hand tools, power tools, or production equipment will be important assets in this role.
