Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) Job OverviewWe are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a key role in evaluating user experience and testing the functionality of our digital platforms, including both mobile applications and websites. Your insights and feedback will directly contribute to the continuous improvement and reliability of products used by clients nationwide. This position is based remotely with the company’s primary location in Rochester, NY, offering flexibility for professionals who value a work-from-home environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios for various mobile and web platforms to ensure software quality and user satisfaction.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and other user experience issues with clear, thorough descriptions.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to communicate findings, share feedback, and help prioritize improvements.
- Verify that application features function properly across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent user experience.
- Prepare and submit regular reports—daily or weekly—summarizing findings, recommendations, and progress updates for internal review.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to following structured testing instructions.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote work technologies, collaboration tools, and app ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related discipline is preferred, though not always required.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device suitable for software testing tasks.
