Quality Assurance (QA) Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our remote team, with opportunities based in Indianapolis, IN. As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in evaluating user experience and ensuring the highest quality standards for our digital platforms, including both applications and websites. This full-time position is instrumental in identifying usability issues and providing valuable feedback to continuously improve user satisfaction and product performance.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web platforms to identify areas for improvement in user experience and interface design.
- Thoroughly document bugs, glitches, and any user experience pain points, ensuring issues are reported with clarity and precision.
- Collaborate closely with development and design teams to relay findings, provide feedback, and help implement solutions that enhance product quality.
- Verify that software features function correctly across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring consistent user experience and accessibility.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing testing results, observations, and actionable recommendations for product improvements.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured testing protocols and instructions.
- Proficiency with remote working tools and familiarity with various app ecosystems, enabling effective participation in a distributed team environment.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, showcasing a background in identifying and communicating technical issues.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and use of a desktop, laptop, or mobile device to perform testing activities efficiently.
