Quality Assurance Inspector - Summary
- Conducts in-process and final inspections of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Reviews blueprints, schematics, job routers, and relevant documentation to verify compliance with specifications.
- Supports the manufacturing process by making informed accept or reject decisions and referring parts to the Material Review Board as needed.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold quality management system protocols and achieve production goals.
- Maintains detailed records of inspection results and communicates findings effectively within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of assemblies during and after production to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assess product compliance and quality.
- Document inspection processes and results accurately, maintaining traceability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Refer parts and assemblies to the Material Review Board when further evaluation is required.
- Support the implementation of quality control procedures and contribute to maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication of inspection outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical assemblies or wire harnesses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities for teamwork and reporting.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
