Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join our remote team on a contract basis. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating the usability and functionality of digital products, including mobile apps and websites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that users have a seamless experience while interacting with our digital platforms. You will work closely with our development teams to report issues, suggest improvements, and help maintain high standards for quality across our products. This position is based in Omaha, NE and offers the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing for both mobile and web applications, following established testing scenarios and protocols.
- Document and report software bugs, glitches, and usability challenges in a clear and organized manner to facilitate resolution.
- Collaborate with software development teams to communicate feedback, share findings, and participate in discussions to improve user experience.
- Verify that new and existing software features function correctly across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent user experiences.
- Prepare and submit regular reports—either daily or weekly—detailing your findings, recommendations, and the status of identified issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow structured testing instructions and documentation processes.
- Experience using remote collaboration tools and comfort navigating different app ecosystems and platforms.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related technical role is preferred, though not required for all candidates.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing and reporting purposes.
