Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join our remote team in Baltimore, MD on a project-based, flexible schedule. The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and user experience of our digital platforms, including both mobile applications and web-based products. As a key member of our QA team, you will evaluate app functionality, conduct usability testing, and deliver actionable feedback that contributes to the continuous improvement of our software solutions.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web platforms, focusing on end-user experience and overall software quality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and user experience issues in a clear and organized manner, supporting effective issue resolution and product improvement.
- Work closely with development teams to communicate critical feedback, facilitate knowledge sharing, and support collaborative problem solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validate that software features function correctly across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure broad compatibility and usability for all users.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing test findings, process outcomes, and recommendations for product enhancements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured instructions and testing protocols to ensure thorough software evaluation.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote work tools, as well as familiarity with mobile and web app ecosystems to support effective testing and communication.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a foundational understanding of QA best practices and methodologies.
- Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate testing devices, such as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device, to facilitate comprehensive test coverage.
