Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join our remote team on a contract basis. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating user experience, testing website and application functionality, and delivering feedback to enhance our digital platforms. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the improvement of digital products accessed by thousands of users nationwide. The role is based in Omaha, NE and is available as a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Document and report bugs, glitches, and user experience issues with accuracy and clarity, providing detailed steps to reproduce and relevant screenshots or recordings when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to communicate identified issues and share actionable feedback that drives product improvements.
- Verify software features for functionality and compatibility across a range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent quality for all users.
- Prepare and submit thorough daily or weekly reports that summarize findings, highlight critical issues, and include recommendations for enhancing product performance and usability.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured instructions and meticulously document findings.
- Comfortable using remote working tools and digital collaboration platforms to work effectively as part of a distributed team.
- Experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred and will be advantageous in this role.
- Familiarity with app and web ecosystems, and the ability to navigate various operating systems and device types.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device capable of running test scenarios and reporting tools.
