QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated QA Tester to join our remote team based in Philadelphia, PA, on a project-based employment type. The QA Tester will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and usability of our digital applications and websites. Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web-based platforms, ensuring thorough evaluation across devices and operating systems.
- Accurately document and report bugs, glitches, and user experience issues with clear and detailed descriptions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products.
- Collaborate closely with development, design, and product teams to communicate identified issues and provide constructive feedback in a timely and effective manner.
- Verify that all software features and functionalities are consistent and operational across a variety of browsers, devices, and screen sizes, maintaining a high standard of quality assurance throughout the process.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports that summarize findings, outline recommendations, and track the resolution of identified issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to diligently follow structured testing instructions and protocols.
- Proficiency with remote working tools and a thorough understanding of current app ecosystems for both desktop and mobile environments.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred but not required for the QA Tester role.
- Reliable high-speed internet access and the availability of a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for conducting various testing scenarios.
