QA Tester Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our quality assurance (QA) team as a QA Tester. This is a remote, full-time position open to candidates globally. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the core functionality and performance of both mobile and web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all application features operate correctly and meet the specified requirements, contributing directly to the overall quality and user experience of the final product.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive functional test cases to verify the full range of app features and workflows.
- Identify, document, and report any functional bugs, crashes, or inconsistencies encountered during testing.
- Provide clear and detailed bug reports, including reproducible steps, to assist development teams in resolving issues.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure full understanding and resolution of identified functional issues.
- Produce and submit regular reports detailing the status and findings of functionality testing, including daily or weekly summaries as required.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to functional testing and quality assurance.
- Comfortable working remotely, utilizing various remote collaboration and testing tools.
- Experience working with multiple types of applications and platforms, including both mobile and web environments.
- Prior experience in functional QA, software testing, or a closely related technical field.
- Reliable internet connection and access to the necessary testing devices, such as desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and efficiently document functional defects and feedback.
