QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our remote quality assurance team. Based out of Philadelphia, PA, this full-time role is central to ensuring the highest standards in our digital products, including both mobile applications and web platforms. As a QA Tester, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by identifying issues, enhancing user experience, and helping to deliver seamless functionality across all devices and platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web-based platforms to ensure products meet quality benchmarks.
- Accurately document bugs, glitches, and user experience concerns, providing clear and detailed reports to facilitate issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development and design teams to communicate feedback and ensure that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Verify that all software features function correctly across diverse devices, browsers, and screen sizes, maintaining a consistent and high-quality user experience.
- Prepare and submit thorough daily or weekly summaries, outlining findings and actionable recommendations to improve digital product quality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured testing and reporting protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to think critically about user experience and potential issues.
- Experience using remote collaboration tools and understanding of various app ecosystems.
- Prior background in quality assurance, software testing, user experience evaluation, or related areas is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device for testing purposes.
