QA Tester Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA Tester to join our remote team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile and web applications. This full-time remote opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about software testing and application quality assurance. The QA Tester will be responsible for thoroughly evaluating application features, identifying functional issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive functional test cases for a variety of mobile and web applications to verify that all features and workflows perform as intended.
- Identify, document, and report any functional bugs, crashes, or inconsistencies in application behavior.
- Generate clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports to assist development teams in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure a shared understanding of functional requirements and the prompt resolution of identified issues.
- Submit regular reports—either daily or weekly—outlining testing status, findings, and overall application functionality assessment.
- Contribute feedback for continuous improvement of applications and testing processes, supporting the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to executing functional tests and analyzing results.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote working tools, as well as familiarity with a range of application types and platforms.
- Proven prior experience in functional quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
- Reliable internet connection and access to necessary testing devices, such as desktop computers and mobile devices.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately describe defects and testing outcomes.
