QA Tester Position OverviewJoin our dynamic remote team as a QA Tester, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of applications throughout their entire development journey. As a QA Tester, you will work collaboratively with team members to evaluate app functionality, user experience, and stability from early development builds all the way through to pre-release versions. Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough testing of applications at multiple stages of the software development lifecycle, including alpha, beta, and release candidate phases.
- Carefully document software bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns as the application evolves.
- Work closely with development and product teams, delivering timely feedback and ensuring that identified issues are addressed efficiently.
- Conduct comprehensive regression testing to verify that new features do not negatively affect existing functionality and overall app stability.
- Compile and submit detailed daily or weekly reports on application status and quality, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools, version control systems, and issue tracking software.
- Relevant experience in software quality assurance, application testing, or a related discipline, with a focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery environments preferred.
- Reliable access to a high-speed internet connection and appropriate mobile and/or desktop devices for testing purposes.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing software builds, efficiently prioritize testing activities, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
