QA Tester Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our quality assurance team on a remote, project-based employment type. As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring a superior user experience across both mobile and web platforms. In this role, you will evaluate software functionality, identify and document usability issues, and deliver actionable feedback to drive continuous improvement of our digital products. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of quality and reliability for our digital platforms, impacting thousands of users nationwide.
Responsibilities- Execute thorough usability testing scenarios across multiple platforms, including both mobile devices and web browsers, to identify inconsistencies and user experience issues.
- Document software bugs, glitches, and pain points clearly and comprehensively, providing detailed information that supports efficient troubleshooting and resolution by the development team.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, designers, and other quality assurance professionals to communicate identified issues and offer constructive feedback for platform enhancements.
- Verify that software features and functionalities operate consistently and effectively across a variety of devices, operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
- Produce comprehensive reports on a daily or weekly basis, summarizing test findings, recommendations, and progress toward resolution of identified issues.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured testing protocols and instructions.
- Comfort with remote working tools, digital collaboration platforms, and familiarity with modern app ecosystems on both mobile and desktop environments.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related technical field is preferred and will contribute to success in this QA Tester role.
- Reliable internet connectivity, and access to a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device suitable for conducting software tests.
