QA Engineer - Summary- Remote, full-time opportunity for experienced QA professionals
- Responsible for ensuring high-quality software releases
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Agile/DevOps teams
- Drive continuous process improvement in testing and quality assurance
- Execute QA activities to ensure compliance with system standards and user requirements
- Create, manage, and execute comprehensive end-to-end test plans
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios, ensuring traceability to requirements
- Author and maintain robust test suites to validate application deliverables
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across various platforms
- Validate data integrity and reporting using SQL and related tools
- Conduct mobile application testing across multiple operating systems
- Utilize tools such as JIRA and other QA/testing platforms throughout the test lifecycle
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects, ensuring thorough resolution
- Report QA metrics, testing status, and potential quality risks to project stakeholders
- Coordinate with development teams and project stakeholders to triage and resolve defects
- Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes, operating environments, and application functionality
- Participate in and occasionally lead team discussions and project meetings
- Contribute to performance testing and initiatives for continuous improvement

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or a related field
- Hands-on experience executing QA activities in Agile and DevOps environments
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and testing
- Experience using test tools within a DevOps pipeline
- Demonstrated experience with mobile application testing across platforms and operating systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Working knowledge of quality testing methodologies and business process analysis
- Experience with code-based test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Katalon)
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, PHP, Python)
- Familiarity with build and CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Swagger is a plus
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; willingness to mentor junior staff when required
