The QA Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality enterprise applications by working within an Agile/Scrum environment. In this full-time QA Analyst role, you will be responsible for creating detailed test plans, developing and running test cases, documenting results, and ensuring effective communication with your team. The QA Analyst will utilize leading tools such as Jira, SharePoint, and Xray for test management and defect tracking. You will also engage directly with different types of testing—ranging from unit and integration testing to regression, system, UAT, performance, and API testing—ensuring every release meets strict quality standards. QA Analyst - Summary- Key member of the quality assurance team in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Responsible for designing, executing, and documenting testing procedures for enterprise applications.
- Ensures high-quality software releases through comprehensive manual and automated testing.
- Works cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing, documenting results and ensuring traceability.
- Conduct a wide range of testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, system, UAT, and stress/performance.
- Utilize Jira for defect tracking, triage, and lifecycle management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams using Jira and SharePoint for project management and documentation.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, or JMeter.
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation and CRUD operations.
- Support and execute test automation using UFT for efficient regression and performance testing.
- Coordinate UAT plans and schedules, communicate progress, and contribute to go/no-go decisions.
- Participate in performance testing, including script and results review.

- Hands-on experience with Xray test management for organizing and reporting test results.
- Advanced SQL skills for validating data and performing CRUD-related testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration as it relates to quality assurance and testing.
- API testing experience with tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, and JMeter.
- Automation testing experience, particularly using UFT.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within sprint teams.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying potential software issues.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Technically proficient in test management, automation, and data validation tools.
- Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
